Siri Doddapaneni is currently a sophomore at Brownell Talbot. She is JuSTEMagine’s Vice President and one of the editors for Imagining. This month, we celebrate Siri as our Imagining team member spotlight!
Why did you join Imagining/JuSTEMagine?
“I joined JuSTEMagine and Imagining because Jack Cenovic, the founder and former president, reached out to me with the opportunity. While Imagining was still being workshopped, Dr. Low, an English teacher at Brownell Talbot, encouraged me to become a Co-Editor for the publication. I am now the Copy Editor of Imagining, and I enjoy being able to be creative and artistic with the publication!”
Do you participate in other STEM activities? “I do! I enjoy Science Olympiad and I’m the captain of our high school team. I’ve also helped with neuroscience and biomedical research projects.”
How long have you been publishing for Imagining?
“I’ve been with Imagining since its conception, and it’s amazing to see how much it has
grown since 2021!”
What is your favorite subject/STEM class?
“My favorite STEM class right now is AP Biology. Biology and life science have always been subjects I’ve been interested in, and I love participating in hands-on labs and experiments.”
What is a fun fact about you?
“A fun fact about me is that I’ve been playing softball since age 5! Now I play for our high school team and I also help coach a middle school team.”
Congratulations Siri for being our Imagining Team Member Spotlight, and thank you for everything!
